Urgent! Sony TV Warranty Question.?
Hi, I have got my eye on a Sony LED TV on Ebay, the seller doesn't state that there is a warranty included, although the TV is brand new and the model was made this year... I have read up that Sony includes a 1 yr warranty with their products, Would this count if I buy the TV and it turns up damaged, e.g. broken screen from post etc. I am confused as on the website it states that you have to be the original owner to return the product, is there anyway I would be covered if it got to me damaged? Would you suggest this is a safe buy, Many thanks. Will give best answer to solution!! Another thing to mention, the TV is on an auction listing and at the moment REALLY cheap compared to what professional shops are asking, so don't suggest "Buy from a large distributor"

Sony 3D HDTV Gears Up For The Competition

The next wave of TV entertainment and media technology is finally here, and Sony will surely be on its cutting edge. The media mogul is set to take a leading role in 3D gaming, television, and not to mention movies. Sony has made a bold prediction about their sales in the new 3D TV market, estimating that by mid 2012 nearly half of their TV sales will be 3D sets. Sony also has 3D plans for its Playstation 3 line, in addition to its 3D Blu-ray players.

However you look at it, Sony is jumping head over heels into the new 3D market. Sony's new line of 3D HDTV sets will include the option to watch either regular TV in HD, or switch over to 3D HD options, via 3D movies or 3D TV broadcasts.

Sony is on course to capture nearly 20 percent of the LCD TV market in the next couple years. Success in the 3D TV end of the market will be crucial for Sony's future growth, and production of cutting edge consumer electronics. But success won't come easy for Sony, as both Vizio and Samsung are heavily invested in the new 3D market.

Playstation 3 has shown that Sony has both the ability, and mass appeal to the entertainment and gaming world to be successful. Now that Sony has entered the 3D TV market, and plans to relate it to their gaming industry, things for Sony could be looking up. 3D viewing will no doubt be the next wave of gaming and TV entertainment, and what better way to play and watch than on a Sony 3D HDTV.
